produced by Reeves of Birmingham to Beaumont-Adams patent for retail circa 1854, with blued 4 3/4in. barrel (much finish remaining), solid borderline engraved iron frame (colour gone), the top-strap signed 'F. BARNES & CO. LONDON', plain blued cylinder with rope engraved band to leading edge (much finish), double-action mechanism with spurred hammer, walnut chequered semi saw-handled grip and guarded trigger, loading lever mounted to left of barrel
